When I beat brain cancer for the second time at 19, I vowed to apply my engineering skills toward two values. First, better the world. I do this by volunteering with non-profits and positioning my career to create a sustainable, positive impact. Second, never stop building and learning. I'm driven by the satisfaction of turning concepts into reality, and I know I'll never know everything, so I try to learn from the people around me.

I'm finishing my Mechanical Engineering degree at Georgia Tech. I learn best by real-world experience, which I've built across 4 internship terms, published research, and side projects. I'm also passionate about design and software (as showcased by this website!), and I use those skills to connect my engineering into broader systems and creative work.

Analytical Thinker

I identify problems down to requirements and constraints to come up with long-term solutions backed with data.

Self-Starter

I spot gaps and take ownership without being asked, from dashboards to new test procedures.

Team Collaborator

I build trust quickly across disciplines, from body engineering to controls, software, and vehicle dynamics.

Continuous Learner

I dive deep into unfamiliar technical territory rather than settling for a quick answer.

Experience

Rivian

Engineering Intern, Chassis Brakes 05/2026 - 08/2026 Irvine, CA

Designed, fabricated, and commissioned a brake system test bench projected to avoid up to $10M/year in warranty cost and insource $2M of supplier validation. Defined 267 requirements to the V-model, automated 50+ CANalyzer/CAPL test cases, and specified hardware-in-the-loop architecture requirements to suppliers.

Rivian

Manufacturing Engineering Co-op, Body Closures 05/2025 - 12/2025 Normal, IL

Commissioned the R2 hood assembly line through the first 40+ manufacturing builds. Reduced hood deformation 61% by introducing a two-part acrylic-epoxy hem adhesive. Designed and validated a hood-to-fender fixture in CATIA with GD&T. Ran DFM for R3 Closures, projecting a 25% station reduction.

Procter & Gamble

Product Supply Manufacturing Engineer Intern 05/2024 - 08/2024 Lima, Ohio

Developed RFID/GPS tracking system saving $350k+ annually. Implemented vision system rejecting defective pallets, improving quality and safety. Automated 3,000+ maintenance work orders in SAP, resulting in $100k+ annual savings. Designed and validated pallet defect detection system.

Georgia Institute of Technology

Advanced Crane Laboratory Research Assistant 08/2024 - Present Atlanta, Georgia

First author on a peer-reviewed paper accepted into the 2026 MECC conference, validating a video analysis methodology for quantifying crane tip-over dynamics. Designed a 1:50 scale 3D-printed model achieving R² = 0.97 correlation with IMU data, and built SolidWorks Motion and ANSYS models reaching 0.959 mean correlation.

Invention Studio

Prototyping Instructor & Laser Master 05/2023 - Present Atlanta, Georgia

Laser Master and Prototyping Instructor at largest student-run makerspace in the U.S., supporting 15,000+ projects per semester. Managed $20k annual budget for laser cutter improvements. Installed multi-stage carbon filter system enhancing safety and machine lifespan.
